WSCC India Business Summit – A Grand Celebration of Business, Culture, and Community in Amritsar


Amritsar, May 9, 2025 – The *World Sikh Chamber of Commerce (WSCC)* successfully concluded the *WSCC India Business Summit* on May 7th and 8th, 2025, at the elegant *Abode by Aliste Hotels*, Amritsar. The two-day event brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, and thought leaders from across India, blending insightful learning sessions with rich cultural experiences and powerful networking opportunities.

The summit opened with an impactful *Leadership Growth Series, led by Parmeet Singh Chadha, Global Chairman WSCC and  **Harmeet Singh Arora, Owner of Aliste Hotels and a distinguished business leader. The session focused on empowering entrepreneurs with practical strategies in leadership, vision, and adaptability. All participants received **certificates of participation* jointly presented by *WSCC* and *Experrientia*, marking their commitment to personal and professional development.

WSCC proudly extended a warm *welcome to various trade bodies, Vyapar Manchs, chambers of commerce, and industrial associations*, reaffirming its mission to foster collaboration and unity in the business ecosystem. These esteemed organizations engaged in active dialogue, exploring synergies with WSCC’s national and international chapters.

A major highlight of the summit was the prestigious *Pride of Amritsar Awards, where **10 renowned citizens* were honoured for their outstanding contributions in diverse fields. Among the recipients was *Sardar Bir Singh, a revered poet, lyricist, and singer, whose work deeply reflects Punjabi culture, spirituality, and emotion. The awards were supported by **Devesar Group*, whose backing made the celebration of Amritsar’s pride and talent even more special.

The summit also celebrated local heritage through the *Amritsari Food Festival, held at **Aliste Hotel*, where delegates enjoyed a curated spread of iconic dishes and flavours. This fusion of business with culinary culture created an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

A special *networking meeting with Sikh and Punjabi organizations* like Chief Khalsa Diwan & Bharti Vyapar Manchwas held to strengthen intra-community ties and identify opportunities for collaboration, empowerment, and mutual growth.

To further deepen the cultural connection, WSCC organized visits to revered *Gurdwaras in and around Amritsar*, allowing delegates to experience spiritual reflection and heritage immersion—an integral part of Sikh identity.
